MI-3903 is multipurpose duplex braided packing braided from a unique Expanded PTFE Yarn intimately bonded with High Grade Graphite particles during its manufacturing. The PTFE and Graphite and excellently inherits the benefits of the polymer and the mineral. the integral Graphite, which is entrapped in expanded PTFE matrixes, provides excellent lubrication, thermal stability and high thermal conductivity to the packing. This packing is inert to virtually all chemical attacks and exhibits excellent antifrictional and heat conduction properties, thus, ensuring resistance to hardening unlike the conventional PTFE packings. The packing is easy on shafts and can be installed and removed with excellent pliability. This packing might further be incorporated with break-in lubricant for cooler shaft runs, depending upon applications.
