MI-3913 is a specially designed Ultra Graphite Filament Yarn braided packing impregnated with a custom made High Performance Graphite based lubricant and incorporating corrosion inhibitors to present pitting. The packing has optimum graphite purity for safe initial break-in and has high breaking strength. It has very low coefficient of friction, high thermal conductivity & sliding velocity, exhibits excellent resistance to chemical and remain soft and pliant even in high temperature and pressure condition. The excellent self lubrication and heat conductivity of this packing enables it to be used on Boiler Feed Water, Condensate and Emissive Petrochemicals where fluid film between shaft and the packing is in vapor state.
