MI-3950 is a Non Asbestos duplex braided gland packing impregnated with PTFE based dispersion and incorporating break-in lubricant. The Fiberglass Yarn is in fibrous form and is manufactured from Inorganic Refractory Oxides. The Packing is highly resistant to any known chemicals and is dense in nature. The Packing is highly resilient and anti-frictional, which doesn’t score the parent equipment in dynamic application. This packing is an economical and excellent substitute to PTFE Impregnated Asbestos Packing and is Non-Health hazardous, Non- Toxic and Eco-friendly unlike the latter, which has been found to be health hazardous. The Fiberglass Yarn used in manufacturing the packing is effective in gaseous, liquid and viscous chemical applications alike and the addition of Fluoropolymer dispersion enhances the properties of the finished packing.
