MI-3914 is a unique multipurpose braided Hybrid Combination Packing of Non Metallic Expanded Pure Graphite Yarn reinforced with High Structural Carbon Filament Yarn at four corners and core, in interlock braid. This packing is one of the most versatile one in the industry and is incorporated with sacrificial corrosion inhibitors to prevent pitting of parent equipment. The packing can further be impregnated with proprietary HIGRAPH dispersion for longer dry run capabilities. The carbon corners provide excellent mechanical strength and extrusion resistance to the packing and the self lubricated soft Expanded Graphite Yarn at the faces are gentle on shafts. This packing is highly chemical resistant and shows good thermal conductivity. This can be used both in Dynamic and Static applications.


Also Available : This packing can also be made available with a core of Pure Expanded Graphite Yarn instead of Carbon Yarn Core for more resiliency and cost effectiveness.
